I would recommend Marie-laure and her team at Easy Gourmet any day. We held our wedding party at the Tab Venue in Shoreditch in November 2012. Given that Easy Gourmet are the only caterers attached to the venue, I must admit I was a little worried that the catering was just going to be OK. My fears were allayed when I first met Marie laure at the venue, as she talked sbout the foods that could be served with such passion! Everything from the iberico carved ham, to the fanciful mini vintage desserts selected was delicious – and plentiful! Marie laure has lots of food ideas that can meet a ramge of budgets and themes. i also really appreciated that she will tell you honestly what the tastiest dishes are/ what are best done for a buffet v a sit down meal and so on…
I also want to highllight that the team are more like event planners than caterers: Because of their wealth of experience and connections, they can help you realise the intended theme for your party- even if you’re not a creative person! The team advised on the band and lighting and sound company I should book, as well as finding a replacement dj on the day of our party after our dj cancelled.. You just wouldn’t get that kind of ‘let me sort this out for you’ service at a big corporate style venue. As you can tell, we had a great time and a lot of it is thanks to Easy Gourmet!
