We were both absolutely delighted with the party. It is always slightly difficult to tell when it is one’s own party but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves enormously and were hugely complimentary about the food and your staff. I was enormously impressed, too. The food and wine was delicious and your staff looked after everyone, over and above the call of duty. I must thank you, especially, for all your help with everything, decorations, advice on size of table ( you were absolutely correct etc etc. You could not have done more.
Please convey my thanks to all your staff, not forgetting the chefs whom sadly I didn’t see. I shall be exceedingly surprised if you don’t get some orders from some of our friends.
