Islington Assembly Hall is a spacious venue in the heart of the bustling London borough of Islington. The Grade II listed building was refurbished in 2010 and now boasts a fantastic PA system and contemporary twists to complement its original art deco features.
It has retained plenty of its original features, including a stage, a balcony, seating for 250 theatre-style downstairs and 160 in the beautiful upper tier gallery and a fully-sprung ballroom dance floor. A round or rectangular top table works well in various positions in the hall.
The fully sprung dance floor and accessible space in the main hall make it an ideal venue for weddings, dinner-dances and other private events, and its magnificent stage is perfect for hosting live music, creating a special and elegant ambiance for your special day.
The foyer, with its luxurious red carpet, has the wow factor to welcome your guests and is an ideal space for you all to enjoy reception drinks on arrival before moving through to the main hall. The foyer holds around 120 people standing.
