At the Friendly Place

Saturday 11th of July 2015, Laura and Matthew got married at Asylum in Peckham and celebrated that in the beautifully venue called The Friendly Place. Everyone was very happy of the cute venue which as Friendly Place. The decoration was simple but very beautiful, on the long table was put brown paper linen flat folded napkins, flowers and bottle of good wine. The place name was glass lazer name and they was put on each napkins. On the entrance window outside was white tack the table plan. Small colored tassels were hanging in the center of the room between the table rows.

A Corn feed whole chicken under skin marinated in garlic with three different side, Roasted baby potatoes, mix summer vegetables and Roasted butternuts was served during the reception, the main course was shared between the guests. A vegetarian option was purpose for the vegetarian guest, there was Aubergine Parmigiana with fresh Provençal tomato coulis. The desert, Bride and Groom selected for them and their guests a selection of mini dessert. There were Panacotta salted caramel, Blackberry and apple crumble, Chocolate pot and Bakewell tart.

After a beautiful first dance, the evening buffet opened, a selection of cheese was offered to everyone.
Bride and Groom provided mini pork pies, cherry tomatoes and welsh cakes to be served with the cheese and the cake.

At the Art Pavilion

Saturday 13^th of June 2015, Diane and Simon got married in such an amazing venue, the Art Pavilion.  The sublime wedding dress and veil and pretty violates bridesmaids dresses were from Vividress.

Everyone was happy by the location and the cute decoration. The hall decorated with blue and yellow balloon from Balloons of London, on each chairs alternated both color of balloons. A photo booth was centrally located for guests to take pictures with funny hat and jewelry during this fabulous day.

On the long table was placed place name in the form of Lego, cream and yellow flowers from Denningtons Florist in different Jam Jars, napkins which hanged from the table and in front of the chairs of the Bride and Groom set up Mr and Mrs.

In the Hall was placed different decorated table, like a table with different candy jars, scoops and bags for guests to eat and take home and a present table where placed a sunflower yellow postbox from Your Wedding Post Box , jar of pens, blank postcards and beautiful yellow roses and cream flowers like peonies or  gypsaphelia with sage leaves in jam jars.  On the side of the room hung a signing tree made by Jodie Bews of Everlongart.

The beautiful wedding ceremony took place in the Art Pavilion, after that the guest could enjoy a service of Prosecco and soft drink accompanied with carved ham and kind of bread.

During the Diner, some guest participated at the carved of the chicken. All guests, Bride and Groom were happy of that. The day continued with the arrival of another guest for a reception’s drink.

Children and parents were treated to a children magic show performed by the great magician Darren Lang. This wonderful magician mixed illusion and spectacular.

Following the cutting of the cake made by Bride and Groom; the buffet was served; he was followed by the service of the wedding cake and finally the closure of the party.

From the beginning, emails and calls were answered promptly and the team worked hard with us to create a menu that fitted our budget. We had carved ham canapés followed by the pie menu. The food was gorgeous and so many people told us it was the best food they’d had at a wedding. Pies are such a fantastic idea – a world away from dry chicken. All staff was impeccably polite and helpful.

Easy Gourmet doesn’t just provide food, however. The staff was so helpful in working out timings and logistics in the months before the wedding and on the day. It made planning the wedding so easy. In the few days before the wedding, the team was incredibly helpful with any final questions. And on the day, we didn’t have to worry about a thing!”

Everything was well prepared. Easy Gourmet staff arranged the tables, decorated the venue, however most of the things was very-well made by Bride & Groom and their loved ones. The wedding cake was made by mother of Bride. The bar and a vintage mobile disco were also handmade. Thanks to all of that, it was such a fabulous wedding. The Bride & Groom had brought the flowers, their own drinks which make it a very beautiful DIY wedding. Even the DJ was a family member of Bridegroom.

Thus thanks to the decoration, the good mood of everyone; it was such a stunning event. Flowers with jam jars everywhere, the lovely weather enabled such a beautiful brightness in the venue, round tables well decorated, with chili & flowers on the middle, and white linen. B&G made a curry paste jars for each of their guest, and for children sweet jars.

After that, the person speaking must begin his speech by a particular formula; “Ladies & Gentlemen, The Queen”.

Those in attendance have to reply, “The Queen”.

Thus, the “Royal Toast” is anchored in the British customs but not only. It is also used and well-known in other countries.

The United States of America know the “Royal Toast” too, nevertheless it uses another formula, quite similar than the British one but adapted for the USA; “Ladies & Gentlemen, the President of these* United States of America”.

People who will be in attendance will have to reply “The President”.

*”these” is used when the toast is given within the country, when given elsewhere in the world, the word is “the”.
