“I can’t recommend enough!”
My husband Alex and I were married on Saturday 6th October 2012, at the Old Finsbury Town Hall in Clerkenwell.
From the start I was impressed with Marie-Laure’s (ML) hands-on communication style, and her thorough attention to detail. The team is clearly very, very experienced and ML was able to offer countless tips and pieces of advice on almost every aspect of the wedding – not just the food and drink! If I had an idea that didn’t work, ML wouldn’t be afraid to tell me, and was great at offering alternative ideas or solutions.
Lots of the design ideas came from ML, and she helped me really think everything through and thoroughly prepare for all the logistics of the day. We went through everything, over and over again, and it really helped to ensure the wedding ran well with all bases covered.
The food was fantastic – we were on a tight budget and went for a two course option with the pie menu – and this went down very well with our guests. I would definitely recommend. The canapes and evening buffet also worked well and there was plenty of food, all of which was delicious.
The whole Easy Gourmet team were fantastic on the day, helping to set up the venue and having everything looking perfect. I received lots of comments on how professional the catering staff were.
