Steve & Heidi got married on Saturday 4th May 2013. Their wedding reception was held a The Old Finsbury Town Hall and when asked what they wanted for their wedding day they replied: A fun, informal wedding aimed to create an old-fashioned street party feel.
The Dress: The Balanchine Dress from Alice by Temperley
Groom Steve’s suit was made by Gresham Blake Tailors, London.
Flowers were Peony Sarah Bernhardt, Sweet Avalanche and Amnesia roses, Astrantia and Eucalyptus. The brides mum, sister and best friend arranged them for the couple beautifully in the jam jars easy gourmet lend to our soon-to-be bride and grooms.
The photographer: was Laura McCluskey, London.
The venue: The Old Finsbury Town Hall.
They had a disco with fantastic LED disco floor (contact from Easy Gourmet) and a photobooth from Retro-me. The couples entertainment For the kids included Victorian dressing-up, masks and old-fashioned games.
The cake was from the famous and fabulous Choccywoccydoodah.
The venue is a beautiful art noveau period building and did not need much decoration so apart from the flowers they had some vintage-style bunting, hand-made by the couples friend. On the tables they had vintage Mills and Boon books and bookpaper loveheart confetti. For favours they gave everybody a Great British Pudding chocolate bar (Montezuma’s), a vintage fabric badge and a temporary tattoo.
The rings were from the stunning ec one jewellers who are in Exmouth Market (just around the corner from the wedding venue).
