“Amazing Marie Laure”
We were lucky enough to secuire the services of Easy Gourmet for our Civil Partnership Celebrations back in May.
Quite simply we wouldn’t have been able to do it without them. Having never planned a party or function on this scale before we were a bit cluless where to start but as soon as she was on board everything fell into place perfectly to create (pardon the cliche) the very best day of our lives.
We had hired The Roost in Dalston as our venue for the reception. Its an amazing space – but as a completely dry hire came completely empty – no tables, glassware, crockery or anything. Her and her amazing team were able to provide everything with the minimum of fuss – absolutely everything was thought of. No detail was too small.
Every single element of the celebration was tailor made around excatly what we wanted – from the canapes (the amazing Iberico ham and scoth quails eggs) through to the main course (pies) through to the desert (churros served in bags from usherette trays). It goes without saying the food all tasted amazing.
As a dry hire venue we were able to buy all our own booze from supermarkets – and she helped us work out exactly what quantities we needed for our 120 guests. They also created the very best mojitos we;d ever had as our welcome cocktails.
Besides the food and drink they were able to offer invaluable help in areas we hadn’t even thought of – hiring DJ and lighting equipment and a photobooth for example.
On the day itself myself and my partner did not have to lift a finger to do a single thing. Instead her incredible team of staff were across EVERYTHING allowing us to relax and enjoy ourselves. All our guests were incredibly impressed by the service.
I really couldn’t recommend Easy Gourmet enough. I can’t imagaine there could be a better wedding catering service in London. We’re already trying to think of another big celebration to throw simply to work with them again.
