After finding a venue that we liked, we found out that Easy Gourmet were the sole caterers. Although with other caterers that put us off, when we met with them we were sold. From the start, she gave us the time and attention we needed to feel sure we were making the right decision, with utter transparency and positivity. She also gave us all sorts of ideas, from decor, structure of the day, alcohol amounts, accessories, everything we could wish for. She even kindly helped out with aspects of the ceremony even though it was in a different venue – her experience is invaluable when you haven’t got hitched before! .

From the very beginning to the end of our wonderful wedding reception the dream team of Easy Gourmet made it a night to remember! Friends from across the world were in agreement that the food and the service were excellent.The staff were discrete, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them.We had chosen the pie menu and there wasn’t’t a pie left on anyone’s plate much to the chagrin of some of our friends! The team at Easy Gourmet was fantastically helpful from the start. Their chef created a Sri Lankan menu for us from scratch and the food on the day was amazing. They were incredibly organised and the transitions from drinks reception, to dinner, to evening reception were seamless. Their staff were incredibly professional and it meant that we could totally relax on the day. A massive thank you to the whole team.
We can’t recommend Easy Gourmet highly enough. They catered our wedding a few weeks ago at The Old Finsbury Town Hall and did a superb job. The food was just delicious. We had canapes and carved ham with homemade bread, then a 3 course sit down meal for 100 people, plus an evening buffet of cheese, crackers, filled bagels etc. All of the food presentation was excellent – like you were eating in a high class restaurant. We opted for their pie menu and loved how these were individually served from wooden crates.
From the very beginning we knew Easy Gourmet would be the right choice, from the firstcontact and efficient communication throughout to the day, to the sensational tasting we had. The taste, presentation and attention to detail was second to none. Portion size was excellent: guests were treated to large dishes so there were no complaints of being hungry!
We had the best day of our lives and so much of that was down to Easy Gourmet. Not just the food, which everyone complimented, but also the huge effort the Easy Gourmet team went to to ensure the wedding went perfectly.
From the beginning, emails and calls were answered promptly and the team worked hard with us to create a menu that fitted our budget. We had the carve ham canapes followed by the pie menu. The food was gorgeous and so many people told us it was the best food they’d had at a wedding. Pies are such a fantastic idea – a world away from dry chicken. All staff were impeccably polite and helpful.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Clissold Park, the Old Church is now available to hire for weddings through London-based Easy Gourmet, a creative catering and event planning company. This stunning venue, which dates back to 1563 (the only one of its kind remaining in London), is ideally located, steeped in heritage and has breathtaking interiors. The venue has a capacity for 80 sit-down guests and 120 standing for evening parties. The church has retained all of its original charm and traditional features including stained glass windows, stone flooring, church bells, antique pews, and a spire. Kew Bridge steam Museum
” Had a wonderful dinner followed by steam train rides, drinks and dancing into the night! ”
We are very proud to announce our first gay wedding … We’re no longer have to say civil ceremony! In meeting with Joe and Peter we quickly reconised we had a very well organised and creative couple on our hands! Joe did amazing with the planning of their wedding – he put us to shame! He by far was the most active fiancee we had worked with and we were honestly stunned by how much he had planned and sorted all by himself. We enjoyed working with this lovely couple and being part of their big day!
The Grooms were wearing a Victorian mid-gray tails with a white shirt and a red cravat. They also wore top hats from Young’s Hire. Accessories were from Steamretro and all jewellery from Onetribe.
The table decoration was in the red tones. They had large flower centerpieces for each table along with 2 side boxes of Swartzwelder calla lillies, green hydrangeas and ivy leaves from Flowers by Ela. Joe added his own personal touch by using hurricane candle holders and silk rose petals. Every table’s name was one of a stream engine. They also had beautiful amber uplighters around the venue which matched perfectly with their chosen colours.
The cake toppers were made by a company in America called My Memory Dolls
Everybody enjoyed the mixture of music played and danced all night long!
